Congrats on the forthcoming nuptials Simon and I hope that and the site relaunch goes well!

I'll confess I did check the Horsells Mouth once a week during the election and the sparring was fun at times if a little heated!

It'll be good to see another Woking centric website/blog as we need more local commentary. I've been trying to do the same over at Spiderplantland but also (as you know) I like to comment nationally too so keep it
mixed.

Enjoy married life and see you on the other side!

After a slow start finding gardens this year, several new ones came in at the last moment. There are 27 gardens with 8 new ones to visit. We like to keep rotating the gardens from year to year and new ones are always welcome. This year there is a vast variety and what we need is some fine weather to make the most of the gardeners hard work. There is always a few tips and ideas to pick up on your journey round. Schedules cost £5 and can be purchased at Needle and Thread, Spar in Horsell or Squires Garden Centre Littlewick Road. Just come and enjoy and know you are supporting a worthy cause - the refurbishment of the Horsell Village Hall.
Regards

I'm disappointed to read that you have a shortage of gardens this year and wonder if this is still the case as a good friend of mine was refused this year as you were over subscribed. Sue and Alan Turner in Wheatsheaf Close have opened for the last couple of years and provide good teas and cakes with the help of the guides. I wish you all the best for this years event and look forward to seeing some new gardens. Regards Molly

Thanks Tom, not only is there nothing wrong with dialect and slang; it's a vital part of the development of the language and expression of identity (including, but not limited to, regionality). But we should have an institution dedicated to recording where it all sprang from.
QES point is entirely valid. There is far too much poor punctuation around - but mostly because there's far too much punctuation around.
